Desktop computers play a very big part in all our lives, but I freely admit now that I much prefer using my laptop to the desktop computer; and I suppose it was the best thing that I ever did was to buy a laptop.

The Desktop computer is still my choice of companion when I am at the office, just for the simple facts that it has all the work data on it that is important to me. But once I am away from work I like to use my laptop again.

It is just so easy with my laptop to access all my favorite music and videos, even when I am out on the road.

The laptop definitely has its benefits over the desktop computer, but there are also some drawbacks to having a laptop. For instance if you use the laptop for long periods of time without a break, the bottom of the laptop can get uncomfortably hot on your legs.

There are also unconfirmed studies about that say prolonged use of laptops can damage your sperm count levels. As I say, these are unconfirmed, but they are something that warrants serious consideration.

But going back to the overheating and uncomfortable issues regarding the laptop, I was seriously thinking that I might have to go back to using my desktop computer, although I did not really want to do that. Then lo and behold I found out that there is something that I could use for this problem. Apparently there is a laptop cooler that can be bought for this particular problem.

All it takes is a quick search on the internet and you can find a wide variety of laptop coolers to choose from. Most of them do not cost a lot to buy either.

The laptop cooler has solved my problem, especially the uncomfortable feeling of burning on my legs; I think I will now stick with my laptop.

If you’ve never tried playing in fantasy sports leagues, it can be a lot of fun. I play in several virtual leagues; football, basketball and baseball. There are a lot of other basic games revolving around sport that I’ve dabbled in too.

At the end of the day, this is good, harmless fun. You act as a team manager and buy and sell players and build your team, giving you areal sense of satisfaction when your team wins.

This is very rewarding, but rather addictive. As I am in 3 leagues, I seem to spend a helluva lot of time refreshing pages and checking league positions and games stats.

I’ve even watched matches that I couldn’t care less about just to see how it will affect my teams’ placings. I will also follow games for the same reason. There are some that actually wonder if it is harmless considering how addicted some players get.

A true sports fan loves a good competition where things are nip and tuck; it brings out our competitive nature. There are lots of positive things about playing these leagues, and like a real sport, they keep us occupied for the duration of the season.

I will admit to certain periods of obsession over how my players are performing and whether or not they have the best interests of the team at heart. This has often taken precedence over the actual results.

It’s my worst nightmare when my virtual teams are scheduled to play at the same time as my virtual teams. My long term loyalty to my real teams is being tested by those who aren’t real. This is quite disturbing to be honest.
