1. Each player needs to know the tactics for the bosses you’re about to kill. So make sure you check if they have the achievements for killing those bosses.
2. All players need to be good geared. As they can lie about their equipment, you must personally check their gear. Don’t invite PvP geared players even if their PvP gear is outstanding. They might be noobs at PvE.
3. Remind the players in your raid to buy their consumables. Also, start looking for tanks and healers even 1-2 days before the raid you will lead because they are usually hard to find.
WoW Instance Guide - How To Make A Successful Instance Group
1. Usually, the players that sign up for heroics want to gear up so don’t expect them to be extraordinary effective. But, always get a good tank or healer, and your instance runs will be smooth.
2. Make sure you balance your instance group. So, try not to invite two of the same class.
3. For instance runs, AoE tanking and DPS is indicated to be fast. So try and get the classes with strong AoE abilities.
