I bought hawx for £2 on ebay a few months back, this would have been £30 two years ago. I see Batman Arkham Asylam going for under £10 on ebay on PC. Console games however don’t seem to depreciate nearly as much, anyone know why?
Because PC games are easy to copy/pirated and downloaded for free, however not full features such as multiplayer are available.
So selling it for a cheap price will convince people to pay for it and get the full features. and therefore they wont loose as much money!

Xbox 360 Three Red Lights-The Ring Of Death
One of the most common Xbox 360 problems ever is the three red lights that appears on the Xbox 360 console ROL (Ring of Light) around the power button or what we call in the gaming community the ring of death, when you receive this three red lights it’s a hardware failure with the actual Xbox 360 console or with the power supply (the gray box connected to the wall outlet).
If you see the three red light ring of death, first check your xbox 360 power supply. There are three colors for it:
1. A green light should appear on the xbox 360 power supply
If you see the green light, this means that your xbox 360 power supply have no problems. And the problem is with your xbox 360 console itself. In this case you need to contact the xbox 360 customer support to have your console replaced. You might want to try to replace it with your retailer but most retailer won’t do it unless you are in the first month of your guarantee. Just give it a try because it might be faster than shipping the console to microsoft to get it repaired or replaced.
2. Xbox 360 power supply light is Orange or yellow.
Usually when the Xbox 360 power supply light is orange it’s on standby so there is no problem with your Xbox 360 console but the power supply can’t supply it with power!
Please unplug your power supply from your xbox 360 console, then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet as well. Then unplug the xbox 360 power supply from the power cord. Then wait for 2 or 3 minutes then plug everything back again. If the problem still persists, then it is a problem with your xbox 360 power supply.
To have your xbox 360 power supply fulfilled, please contact the xbox 360 customer support.
3. The xbox 360 lights a red light on the power supply.
This maybe due to something wrong with the power supply connection, try unplugging everything like the previous step then wait for 2 or 3 minutes and reconnect everything back. Also try another wall outlet without an extension cord.
If the red light still appears, then it is definitely a problem with the xbox 360 power supply. To have it fixed contact the xbox 360 customer support.
4. There isn’t any light in the xbox 360 power supply.
That usually means that the Xbox 360 power supply is not connected to the wall outlet correctly, but even though it might be a fault with the power supply or the power cord.
You may unplug the xbox 360 power supply from the xbox 360 console and unplug the cord from the power supply and the wall outlet and wait for 2 or 3 minutes and reconnect them again.
You have to contact Xbox 360 customer support to fulfill your Xbox 360 power supply.

How do you record handheld console games?
I have seen recordings of handheld console games such as psp and dsi on youtube. How do you do that?
meant ways other than point and shoot with a camera….
meant ways other than point and shoot with a camera….
The PSP 3000 comes with the ability to output to a TV. People can simply record PSP games by plugging them into a capture card or DVR.
For the DS and older consoles, the players were most likely using an emulator on their computer and a ROM of the game. It’s likely they don’t own a copy of the game or the console, which makes what they’re doing illegal.
Of course, there is the crude way of simply pointing a camera at the screen. :p

Viruses And The Relation To Your Computer’s Decrease In Performance
Most people surf the internet and download files without even having any form of anti-virus program installed on their computer. If you are one of these people then you need to seriously consider getting your hands on some form of anti-virus software. See most forms of malicious software (like malware, spyware or even viruses) will find a way to install themselves onto your computer and then they will run the background performing their malicious actions.
This will just eat up your computers resources which in the long run will slow down your computer. Now what most people do when their computer starts to slow down is they will go out and buy a registry cleaner which will make your computer a bit faster, but it will not have nearly as much leverage as if you were to simply get rid of all of the malicious software that is on your computer.
So if the solution isn’t to get a registry cleaner, what is it? Well there are many different program that you can download to get rid of things like malware and spyware but for the purposes of this article we are going to focus on protecting and removing viruses from your computer. To do this I am going to recommend 2 different anti-virus software’s to you, the first you can either use the free version or pay for a more “advanced” version and the second which only comes in a paid version.
The very first proram that I use is called AVG Anti-Virus. With this piece of software you can get a free version and a paid version. If you dont have enough money for the paid version of the software, dont worry, just use the free one - it works jsut find. I have actually used the free one for a few years now and I personally think that it works just as good as most paid ones. But obviously, the paid version of this software has a few more features on it that you can use. Now, when you decided to use AVG as your main anti-virus program, what you are going to need to do is tune it to make your computer faster. There are many different ways to “tune” the program to do this, but for the most part I am going to focus on just one trick in this article, preventing it from performing a scan as soon as you turn on your computer. What this means is that you are going to have to manually tell it to perform scan when it is convenient for you. To do this, just click on the “Computer Scanner”, click on the Manage Scheduled Scans and then select “Edit Scan Schedule”. Now all you have to do to finish off is to just uncheck the box that says “Enable this task”
The second anti-virus program that I highly recommend is called ESET Nod 32 Anti-Virus. This is one htat you are going to have to pay for but you do get a lot more protection, it is easy to use and you do not have to configure it at all - it just runs smoothly and it won’t slow your computer down. I highly recommend this anti-virus to anyone.

Why do console games get boring so fast?
I’m completely bored of my PS3, there are no games that I want to play. I only play my computer games now, there are no console games that last a long time.
Well, I do get bored of my ps3/pc games if I only play single player or play games that are only single player. So i always go on ps3 to play online.
If you got bored of single player, why not try online? Its free
What’s the best handheld games console in terms of good gaming titles available?
I already have a DS, but I’m planning on getting another handheld games console, what’s the best one in terms of available games?
I’m 21, so ideally I wouldn’t want to buy a handheld console that deals in a LOT of kiddy/cartoony titles.
Suggestions?
psp it has like all the ps3 games and ps2 games and you can watch movies plus download things. oh and you can listen to music
Is it more worth it to buy virtual console games over their original counterparts?
I’m considering buying NES games via the virtual console for my Wii. I’m wondering if it would be more worthwhile (in terms of price, quality, difficulty in obtaining, etc) to actually buy an NES and the original games for it. I already own the other Nintendo systems, and I’m also wondering if I should look for the original games for those systems or just buy them via virtual console. Another concern is that I play my Wii on an HD TV and how that would affect any NES games.
Hack you wii and use wads…. dont tell anybody i told you though… ( :
